The vegan Sleek Low version made from recycled scraps of the orange- and cacti harvest. The nat-2™ Sleek is produced under fair conditions in a small family production in Italy. The heel features a smooth reflective glass surface [ 3M ® ]. The shoe also features a real cork removable insole.

About the orange & cactus material:

It is a made-in-Italy, cruelty-free and a sustainable alternative
to quality leather made with oranges and cacti that triggers
a virtuous circular economy. Italy is the world’s second-largest cacti producer,
and 90% of production takes place in Sicily.
Furthermore, it is the third country in the Mediterranean basin for citrus production.
The twelfth worldwide.
A resource that is also a curse. The prickly pear supply chain produces about 600,000 tons of pruning shovels every year. The citrus fruit, in its turn,
generates about 700,000 tons of by-products.
These sum up to a critical residue to be disposed of with high environmental and economic costs.
